Race 7 on an 11-race card at Churchill Downs is a 6-furlong stakes on dirt for nine four-year-old and upward filly and mare starters. A pair of Kentucky-bred runners top the morning line odds board with Mia Mischief at 8-5, followed by Break Even at 9-5. Post time is set for 4:08 PM ET.
$100,000 Old Forester Mint Julep Stakes
Race 11 at Churchill is a GIII stakes for 14 four-year-old and upward filly and mare starters. It’s a 1 1/16 mile affair on turf with Juliet Foxtrot out of Great Britain installed as the favorite with odds of 5-2. Post time is 6:16 PM for the final race on the card.
$100,000 Honeymoon Stakes
Over at Santa Anita, Race 7 on the 9-race card is a GIII stakes for three-year-old fillies. It’s 1 1/8 miles on turf for nine starters. Ireland’s Stela Star is the morning line favorite at 2-1, followed by Kentucky-bred Laura’s Light at 5-2. Post time is scheduled for 3:37 PM PT.
$50,000 Confucius Say Stakes
Race 2 of 9 at Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races is a 5-furlong stakes for West Virginia-bred three-year-olds and upward. There are just five starters in the field with Runnin’toluvya a 7-5 favorite. Post time is 7:40 PM ET.
$75,000 Camilla Urso Stakes
Race 8 on a 9-race card at Golden Gate Fields is a 5-furlong affair on turf. There are 14 three-year-old and upward fillies and mares in the field with Kentucky-bred Storming Lady a 4-1 favorite. Post time is set for 4:23 PM ET.
Remington Park Quarter Horse Stakes and Futurity
It’s a big day for the Quarter Horses over at Remington. All told, nine of the 12 races on the card will be of the stakes or futurity variety. They’re all slotted in together beginning with Race 4 at 6:24 PM ET, while the full card gets underway at 5 PM ET. Here are the biggest highlights.
